Rob Hill – President

Rob Hill has video streaming through his veins. The Hill family started in television retail in 1948. Rob joined the family business in 1981, after working in local television and for a national network. His leadership has seen the Video and Film Production businesses grow from a division that his father, Fred Hill, started in the late 1960’s to the present day high-tech production facility. More than that though, Rob is part of a team that will provide you with some of the best creativity, quality and affordability that you can imagine in a production today!

Gerry Milinkovic – General Manager

Gerry obtains and oversees a range of production elements at Hill’s including single and multi camera field and studio production and their end product fulfillment. Or as he puts it, “I’m either working or looking for work!” Starting at the local cable company at 14 years of age, and working in Hamilton radio along the way, Gerry has over 40 years of experience to share, especially when it comes to storytelling, sports and how-to programming and a range of kills from sales, project management producer, and depending on the job, director/camera.

John Luff – Senior Editor/Director

John has been with Hill’s Video Productions for over 30 years and continues to implement the latest techniques when it comes to editing, grading and graphic design to each project. John has a keen eye for detail and knows how to pull things together in the field ensuring that editing time is utilized to its full advantage.

Andrew Walker – Editor

Andrew is always researching the latest software/camera gear and video production products. He builds graphics, fonts and compositions to complement and enhance the look of the project at hand. Andrew has been with Hill’s for over 13 years and has a wide range of experience in live production workflow, editing, captioning, encoding and distributing of our broadcast and commercial projects.

Colin Van Hattem – Post Production Audio

Colin is the owner of Noizemaker Productions with nearly 30 years of experience in the broadcast field. Colin has enjoyed working with Hill’s since 1993 and has had his 5.1 production suite parked comfortably between Hills’ video editing rooms since 2003. This relationship allows access to Hills’ formidable talent and equipment pool while keeping your project moving efficiently between the production stages. A fully isolated voice over booth, Neve preamps and a selection of quality microphones take care of all your narrative needs. Professional surround monitoring, metering and experience that reaches back to the analog era allows your sound to leap off any screen.
